Jeremy009
Hey guys, hope all is well. Now this is for a small project just for laughs, not daily nor competition. Now, i got myself a single 12" slot port sub box,its 2.25 net tuned to 50hz with a pretty big port and i got a 1000rms mono. I know i can't expect magic from that but my goal is to get stupid loud on music in that hz range with the power i got. Any BUDGET sub recommendations around 600-700rms that could make this happen? Was looking into american bass, massive audio ect,i heard they do well on the high tones
ehall8702
Can't go wrong with American bass, had an xfl12 I force fed 2k for over a year in similar box and was impressive, xfl is like $200ish, the eliteis supposed to be very similar to the xfl but half the price. Now I see they have a titan and hawk series and spec wise they look pretty decent. I've also had a few soundwubed hds2 series that were good price to performance too. 2009 Silverado 1500, 7.5" lift, 37x12.50r17s, Built Gen 4 5.3L ( 4.8l flat pistons, decked 243s, SS2 Cam, Pac 1218 springs, ported intake, 120mm TB, Long tubes, 3" duals HP tuner software tuned by me), 4l80e swapped and 4.56 gears. All done by me. stereo is Pioneer avh 600ex, all stinger rca, jp23 v1.5, skar rp150.4, and hertz hpd4. 2 SHCA 6.5 8ohm, 1 SHCA 3.5", and 1 DS18 tw120pro in each door. The 3.5 mid and 3.5" tweeters are powered by the skar rp150.4, the 6.5s are powered by the hertz bridged @4 ohms. Dual runs of 3/0 welding cable, 300a alternator, 2 Vmax AGMs up front. current sub is a AB XR 12 ( dual 2 ohm) with bottom spider cut out in 2.25 cubes at 32hz

ehall8702
Have experience with the xd also, had 1k to a pair of em in a prefab box, they were ok, probably would have been alot louder in a custom built box. 2009 Silverado 1500, 7.5" lift, 37x12.50r17s, Built Gen 4 5.3L ( 4.8l flat pistons, decked 243s, SS2 Cam, Pac 1218 springs, ported intake, 120mm TB, Long tubes, 3" duals HP tuner software tuned by me), 4l80e swapped and 4.56 gears. LT.Smoke
Nothing wrong with your sub choices but I'm curious why tuning is so high? It would much more musical around 32-36hz Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌

1point21gigawatts
An American bass xd would be straight on that enclosure and amp after rise on a clean signal. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
