Jeff E Posted June 13, 2021 Report Share Posted June 13, 2021 I just installed a brand new punch 300×2 amp and a set of t2652 and every thing came on and play but when the volume was on 0 the tweeters made a weird sound....I lowerd the gain and it was better but still there and I unplugged the rca and it sounded better but when I plugged them in again both tweeters stop working any help is appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you were running active (the tweeters and mid bass driver being driven directly from your amplifier). If you were running active, what was your high pass crossover set to for the tweeters? Deeznutz Posted June 13, 2021 Report Share Posted June 13, 2021 300x2 amp. so 2 channel. doubt he was active. Why use such a high rated amp if the handle 100w rms? You didn't mess with the biamp switch did you? If you connected the amp to the crossover to the first + - (TWT in the manual) than that is normal. if you hit the bi-amp switch that 1st + - TWT now becomes the amp for the tweeter only!
