Audiohz
I have a amp that has a requirement for a 400 amp inline fuse. The amp itself only has single 1/0 power and ground so planing to use dual input adapter. My question is using dual power do I split the fusing of the 400 = to 200 per line or fuse 400 amp per? Audiohz
The amp is in a daily drive no comp vehicle. Would I even notice a difference adding the dual input? I have two 1/0 from front to back battery bank that is right at the amp, so maybe 2ft of wire length.
Dafaseles
It won't really be an audible difference. It's more of a way that your amplifier won't have to work as hard, creating less heat, and adding to the longevity of your equipment. Also, on amp dynos I've seen that compare with our without the dual inputs, it can add 300-500 watts. Not a huge difference, but it does speak to how much more efficient it can make your amplifier. I use them, I recommend them 2011 Chevy Silverado under construction My build log here. Check it out!
