Jonnyswboy Posted August 9, 2021 Report Share Posted August 9, 2021 Wondering if anyone here could give me some insight on this. I have two Nsv5 12s in my trunk on a Salt-8 at 0.5 ohm. Box is 5ft3 tuned to 28hz with 80in2 port. Rising to 2.1 ohms at 30hz. The amp should be able to put out 6000w at 2 ohms. I have solid voltage and a clean signal, no clipping. I'm currently clamping 3000w at 30hz and they get hot in about one song or slightly less. The subs are rated 3000w EACH. I would turn the gain up but it starts clipping on rebassed music already. Voltage dropping to about 14.2v full tilt. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dafaseles Posted August 10, 2021 Report Share Posted August 10, 2021 How do you know you're only dropping to 14.2 (what tool are you using to measure this)? Is that a CES lithium battery?
