2014 F150 Tremor (regular cab short bed ecoboost) RF amps, Audiofrog top end, blow through with 16x6.5 subs

Recommended Posts

This build is a throwback to my days working in car audio here in Tempe, AZ back in the 90's. I also wanted to build a truck like my old Nissan Hardbody back in the day but that I fit into way better.

Pictures of the truck, 5/7 drop on Belltech 2" spindles/double adjustable coilovers, flip kit in the rear with Viking double adjustable shocks moved inside of the frame, slam air bags and C notch with custom leaf springs on 22x12 325/40 rear and 22x9.5 285/45 front BC Forged LE215 wheels

My buddy designed some 6.5" drivers and built me a 6th order pair of enclosures to utilize the existing blow through after we removed the JL 13TW5v2's we took out.

I'm in process of adding a Kenwood DMX1037S replacing the Sync 3 conversion I did, also replacing the JBL MS8 with Alpine PXE-X09 crossover and upgrading to Brand X large case 250A alternator and PCM controller along with replacing my AGM battery with 12 35AH LTO cells to supply enough juice to the new amps.

I also want to completely redo the back wall and the interior/door panels with full leather/suede and do custom panels everywhere to do a completely new interior.

It's a long term project and one thing at a time but it's fun. I can't hit full output right now due to the existing electrical/power cables/maxi fuses being unable to supply enough power to the T1000s and popping the 120A fuses but it still move some air for what it is. I need to meter it once I get it all changed out.

Video of obligatory towel shake. :)

Truck looks good and those sail panels and sexy as hell! I'm very interested what 16 6.5" subs in a 6th order would sound like. Dope build!

My build log here. Check it out!

Very clean, very nice, very cool build!  What filament did you use for the GB components in the sail panels?  I've tried some stuff in PLA, but down here in Tx the heat softens it on a hot summer day LoL.

Super nice!

Honestly I don't remember and I sold the 3D printer awhile ago as I didn't have a use for it.

Sorry
