Budget sub for a good mix of SQ and SPL

Recommended Posts

Good day all, as the topic states, am in the market for the best quality 12" sub i can get for under $200.

For a daily set up and planning to tune around 35hz in a ported box. I haven't brought a bass amp as yet but am looking for a sub around 500rms to 750rms and i will match it with a bass amp for power.

My goal is to cover a 32-80hz bandwidth where my mids will take over at 80hz and sound great but still able to get a bit loud.

Thank you all in advance and any recommendations is appreciated.

My mid range is just 2 6.5s 75rms in my front doors. I dont want to drown them out so am sticking under 750rms for bass. What are your thoughts on the re audio sex v2?

That's the power I have on my 4 door speakers, even without the rear fill it keeps up enough with my Wolf 3k.
