16jkur
My left front component seems to be acting up, the tweeter kind of makes noise, but the woofer below it, makes no noise at all. Is it blown? Or is it wiring? I have 2 components (hertz) on a 4 channel (hertz) amp. It was installed many years ago and was working fine until I decided to do a sound test on youtube (left right) and noticed.

If you use a 9v battery to do quick pop test or connect it to another source it'll narrow it down. If it pops/works, then your wiring, source, amp or crossover is to blame. Typically, it'd be blown or there's a wiring problem. Do you have a multimeter? If it's not blown, I'd look at your wiring.
16jkur
I'm unable to get behind it. It's behind my dash and I'd have to remove the dash to get to it. I had it installed by a shop. Maybe it's time for new speakers. They'd find the problem when installing I'm assuming..
