Apollonick
Hello y'all I have just a quick question regarding my system. It's 2 sa-12 dvc 4 subs wired separately with final coming out of the wires at 2 ohm's each I also have a sae2000d amp with 4 terminals 2 positive 2 negative will the amp see 4 ohms with both subs wired up or will it be better to wire both up to 1 ohm final and then hook onto one set of terminal on the amp. Dafaseles
If each set of wires coming from each sub reads 2 ohm, the amp will see 1 ohm. That's perfectly fine. Even though it has 2 sets of speaker inputs, they are connected internally, so it's still a single channel amplifier. There are 2 sets for ease of installation. Nothing more. If you connect them, have a final 1 ohm impedance for both, and only connect the 1 set of speaker wires, it'll be the same outcome. Either or. It's up to you 2011 Chevy Silverado under construction My build log here. Check it out!
