Baboski
So I have 4 txx-apc-12rd subs. I have them installed into a custom 11.5 ft3 box tuned to around 40hz. I was looking into downsizing box and try go get as much or more bass. The parameters from Audiopipe are not right I'm guessing. It's mainly the spl that's off I'm guessing. Manual says 96, but bassbox pro and winisd reject it and auto calculate to like 84db. Attaching specs. txxapa12bl (1).pdf
deon1818
11.5 net box or 11.5 gross? I would build between 6.5 - 8 net cubes Also, tuning down to 33 hz or so will give you a much smoother frequency response. Unless you just really want it to push 40 hz and up. I can't find specs online and for some reason can't open the attachment. What are you powering them with? How's your electrical? What kind of vehicle is it going in and which direction do the subs and port currently face?
CFD
40hz tuning is yucky, good for SPL competing I think only. I have a 10 cube (ish) box tuned at 33 or 34Hz design I could send to you. Port area is rather lower than some people would want, but that makes the box smaller. The design is slightly basic, but rather easy to build. That size box and that tuning make that box a burp box IMO. I wouldn't want to listen to it. Tuning lower brings the thunder
