Side topic: I was trying to step my gain on the amplifier and when I was playing with the gains on the D'Amore HLC-2. my output voltage at the end of the RCAs was about 13.5V and never "clipped" isn't the signal suppose to flatten out at some point naturally?image.thumb.png.fd72f4c8a63a8594b0237c4134d73a1d.png

What tone where you using, and where you using the 0db over lap? It could be clean through out. Which is good. You want to see that. That said, if you wanna see a flat line, turn the "loudness" on your HU, or put the bass to max, I guarantee it'll clip somewhere. Also, what scope are you using? The dd1 will see shit the scope, any scope cant.

What size wire you running? Did you doing 3? I know your sig shows a mechman alt, any belt slipping full tilt, causing less alt amps.  Iv ran in to voltage drops to 11 at amp while dash shows 12. Causes amp to protect for 30 seconds. Did you check voltage with multimeter while happening? Did you clean grounds, run ground to frame or body panel?

Was using my oscilloscope kit from school to try and do it on my own, but I'll  end up buying the DD1 to keep it simple (cheaper than this too haha). This oscilloscope doesn't display a signal past 25V smh. For now I'll just drop my RCA down to 5V and set my gain to ~25V til the DD1 comes in, then retest the main electrical.

Not sure how to reply on here haha. All Wire is all Skyhigh 1/0 OFC (Alt -> Batt+, Batt+ -> Amp; Motor -> Batt-, Batt- -> Frame, Motor -> Frame). Brand new belt. Amp- Ground the to the Tahoe body, all paint sanded down with 60 grit. Voltage drop with no load ~0.2V.

After over looking and measuring multiple points everything looks tight, all positive seems clear of metal. and I was hammer on it yesterday and it wouldn't shut down again, lowest drop was 11.4V on high notes. I'm going to wait til it happens again and try and few other tests.
