I went with the brazillian amp the taramps  smart bass 3 which is stable to .5 ohms and can rise to 4 ohms and still produce 1700 watts but i did have a desire to go korean because some of those can be wired .5 ohms daily and produce more power over all even rising to 4 ohms but they are more expensive at dollars per watt and i wasnt willing to go that far and settled on the above amp at 293 bucks shipped new in box but i understand why you want to make the switch.

Ps.... Ive been watching parkers videos on youtube and he has the smd meter that shows real time box rise and power output and i saw that some music rises to 8 ohms when hes wired to 1 ohm on his 12k taramps.  Thats a four time rise in impedance i believe.  Which means your amp at 8 ohms might put out half the 4 ohm power on a given note.

I've had Korean and I've had full bridge amps the full bridge amps don't like any voltage drop at all 1v is a lot 2 those amps and there not really built well not to sure on my ohms after box rise been 2 cold to do anything that involves standing outside lol but I'm wired at 1 ohm box is like 6.88 cu before displacement around 4cu after

I have a 160a alt and like 130ah of battery and when I go from 14.6 to 13.8 my amp sees clipping and this is at volume 34 and I set the gain with a dd-1+ at volume 38 with just 5db of overlap

well looks like im going to have to fix that voltage drop from the factory then.....i planned on it anyway.

Don't get me wrong they definitely hit for the price but it could be better quality maybe a little price hike if that's what it would take I know they can do better
