1point21gigawatts
That’s nice. The only thing that I would change about it is the prefab enclosure. Joe x or I could help you with a nice subwoofer enclosure design. Other than that, it’s looking nice. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
 647 3.7k 93
Thompson358
I appreciate it yeah that enclosure is temporary just so I can satisfy myself until I can afford to buy some materials
 3 13 1
1point21gigawatts
if you like aeroports then 5 cubes on an 8” aeroport is nice. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
 647 3.7k 93

I’ve done it in the past just to have some bass. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
 647 3.7k 93
1point21gigawatts
just want to know if you know that 2 4” aero ports is no where near equivalent in port area to 1 8” aero port? You probably already know that. I was just checking. Port area on that much rms and that size subwoofer enclosure is restricting the output of that subwoofer immensely and cooling isn’t as adequate as needed. Inverting that subwoofer until getting a custom subwoofer enclosure would help a bit on cooling. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
 647 3.7k 93
Thompson358
Yeah I wana have a custom box built as big as I can go with as big of a port as I can have lol need to make up for all the extra room in the van and I plan on inverting it when I get the external voltage regulator on because the gain is all the way down right now my van only charges at 13.4 so I get down to low 12s pretty quick unless I’m driving ☹️ And quick question can I set my external regulator to charge at 15 volts would that be safe? 1point21gigawatts
I’ve read that the alternators on that vehicle and similar vehicles can charge up to around 14.5-14.7v with no problems. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
 647 3.7k 93
