The FI Xv3 subs are awesome

Or, for a little bit more, you could get the FI SSD v4, which would be my personal favorite out of the whole list

Did not know Fi had any "affordable" options lol. The Xv3 is out of stock though and a little over 200. Ive seen most of those other options but for the price and what I found the DDX seemed better overall and cheaper. Am I missing anything about the others that would make them better in SQ or any notable difference? Also considered CT Sounds, AB and I dont know what others Im missing. Still kept ending up back to the DDX due to price/performance.

Soundqubed might have options in that price range.

I'm running AB subs ( 2 12s ) and I'm happy with them.

Dafaseles seems like a great source and I would be looking at the list he suggested.

The HDS3 is actually on my radar but out of stock and a little closer to $200 than id like. Im trying to keep myself from buying the DDX before deals start to kick in lol.

It's less expensive overall to do less subs of greater cone area, not only save by number of subs to buy but also save in amps and specially on electrical, Also I would avoid the $15o stuff at all costs unless you know extremely well what you are getting.

In any case, whichever you decide to go with, you get what you pay for.

A lot of time, choosing which company to go with is determined by things like customer service and warranties. Not just how the equipment performs. Just in case, you know? Sundown is expensive, but if you have a problem with any equipment, they're quick to help you out and get you back to slapping. Not saying you should go with Sundown, and I'm not saying inexpensive subs are crap either, I'm just saying there's usually a reason specific subs are cheap, and others aren't so much.

My vote is still the SSD v4, but I'm biased because I run FI subs and love them lol.
