Tub Asko Posted May 28, 2008 Report Share Posted May 28, 2008 Well, in an attempt to crack down on "illegal" tint, the Louisiana State Troopers now carry some kind of scanner they stick on your window/glass that will tell you exactly how dark it is and if is illegal or not. The ticket is $150-300 FIRST OFFENSE, the installers first ticket is $1000. As far as I know, you can't fight the ticket at all. Edit: I have 5 percent on my front windows and 3 percent on my back windows and rear. I live in between two cities where you better be granny fucking smith driving to church on a Sunday listening to Christian rock with the volume on 2 or you are getting pulled over. Hardcore mofos around here. I'm cool with the cops local though. Just once you leave town, anything goes.
