OK lets get going on this.

lets set some criterias and lets set a date. I'm sure we can get a hold of an amp from each side just to put this to an end

any predictions?

as soon as possible for the date.

if u can set a constant voltage for both amps.

measure current draw at 4 ohm, 2 ohm and 1 ohm

also measure wattage at each ohm load.

the more efficient more powerful amp wins

simple as that

also u can try an ohm load test. u know whoever goes lowest (at a set wattage) without frying wins.

just for fun

If the amplifiers owner's are up to it, I wouldn't mind seeing these tests go past rated impedances and include 0.5ohm and 0.35ohm tests.

the sundowz can go to 1/2 with no problem

Gee, I would've never thunk it?!?

I have of course already played/tested both the Sundown 1500 and 3000 at low impedances and know what they'll do but thanks for letting me know anyways. Now lets see it in this official test.

 sounds great.......

Its hopefully the first of many but lets not go to far on that. The last thread got so carryed away and that it was finally in an agreement to put the two amps in one vehicle given the same equipment, box rise and voltage and see what they do. Each amps gonna have pros and cons. I hope to be there to document this test. I really would like to hear some ideas or scenarios to simiulate. Temperature is gonna be a factor as well as elelvations all of which we will do our bet to record.

Scenario I had was:

two boxes- An SPL Box tuned between 50-70 hz and then your everyday tuned between 30-45hz. maybe even a sealed box.

what else?
