eazy Posted June 19, 2008 Report Share Posted June 19, 2008 My friend wanted an 8" sub behind his center console in his GTO. I really wish he let me put it in the trunk ported, but oh well. The gain is all the way down right now and he's using his stock stereo. The pictures in the car were taken at night with the flash on so they came out pretty crappy. The car's interior and box are black and it looks a lot better in person. I've never heard another 8" sub sealed and I've never had any sub sealed in my car, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I prefer ported, but I guess I was a little disappointed I had to keep the gain all the way down... I have no idea what the voltage from the stock stereo is though.
