dont they still require matching gains...(unlike the RF amps that when strapped use one gain), but i believe you still have to match the gains..unless u are using a maxxlink or something..

They are just like the RF amps. Set one master, set your settings, the rest slave and leave them alone.

the only advantage to strapped is if you have more amps then you have voice coils.

something like running 4 amps to one dual VC sub (or 8 amps to a Quad coil sub). Other then that its sorta a waste of time.

im confused....what amps are just like the RF amps in that way? I dont think any, besides RF, have 1 master and up to 100 slaves.....

some amps, when strapped, use the terminology of "master and slave" but thats not the same thing as what the T series amps do.

That is incorrect. They are not like the RF amps and you cannot daisy chain Sundowns. However when strapped the "slave" amp does not need to be adjusted or matched at all. It is automatically done with the BR output from the amplifier. This only applies to a strapped pair. The only benefit to strapping a pair is you only have one remote gain knob. Some people have seen slightly more power from the amplifiers unstrapped. I believe it was very marginal though, less than 50 watts.

I've tested few amps strapped then unstrapped

I found when I strapped the amps that they are stronger on a burp then music.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
