about once a month. i'd take the sub out and make sure everything's still wired up correctly.

shit bro isn't your wood mounting holes getting reallllllllllll loose? like from taking the sub out so many times

unless you mean the sub and the enclosure together

My stereo vehicle (Astro) isn't my daily driver- so it seems that I check everything about 3 times for every one time that I drive it. I will check it and do adjustments to make sure everything is cool before I drive it, then a quick once over right before I drive it, and then again after I drive it.

It isn't really like overkill in my mind- especially considering it only gets driven maybe every other week.

My biggest fear is power wires shifting or shorting out. 4 runs of 4awg and all the big 3 stuff in 0awg- that is pretty big wire. Even with everything fused 6 ways from Sunday, I am constantly looking for something that could compromise the saftey of the system and vehicle.

Good question!

Well with all my amps, speakers.. and everything else in the cab with me in plain sight. I usually just pull the seat forward and give everything the once over daily. But i will check under my hood 2 times a day. I NEVER want bad things to go down under there.

its a rare thing for me to check my system i usually dont do it until something goes wrong and thats not often however i take my batts out and individually charge each one about once a month so my electrical connections are pretty well kept up

i have OCD so i check it alot. usually 5-7 times a week. wnad when i have a show on the weekend i chack it like 2-3 time a day. i go over:

front battery mount make sure its secure

front battery terminals

fronet battery voltage

power wire check for cracked sheilding

rear batteries mount

rear batteries voltage

rear batteries terminals

distrobution blocks check for tight connections

grounding points at chassis for rear batteries and amps.

check big 3 almost everyday

check tuning on amps i have 3 of them

check setting on main head unit

check setting on competition head unit

i know this is excessive but i have OCD so theres nothing i can do about it.

Basically never. On very very rare occassions, like when it's 100+ out I will reach back and touch my amp and see how hot it is. If it's hot to the touch I turn the fan on, If not I leave it. I have faith in Knu Konceptz, My woofer builder (myself), the amps, and my Installer (myself). I agree with what Alpine said when you do an install for a customer you can't check it 4-5 times a week so do every install as if it was for the dumbest crackhead out there who doesn't check squat and go on.
