ITS STILL IN PROTECT. COrrect me if i am wrong but i belive its an internal problem. Send it back...They're great people and stand behind their warranty...My friend had to send his PA 2400db back and then he wanted to exchange it for the PA A3000db and only had to pay the difference and they sent him a PA A3000db no questions asked.
