ChevyBoy Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 looks awesome man. u can get a glossy shine from a spray can. wet sanding and buffing are you best friends with that. along with a good clear
The Performer Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Posted August 27, 2008 i say do the textured stuff and make it have the factory finish to match the rest of the interior pieces that are plastic.I thought about that too, but in the end I want it to stand out not blend in. Hear what I'm screamin? Thanks ChevyBoy, man, I've done some very nice quality painting with spray cans before but it's always seemed to give me a shit hard time when I do the clear coat. Any tips on it or specific brands I should go with? CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! Not being new at something doesn't mean anything. The Performer Posted August 30, 2008 Author Report Posted August 30, 2008 So I JUST got home and it's 4:50 AM been out all night riding around and listening to this. Yep, today was HELL of busy day. Ran all my new wiring and finished the box enough to test those bad boys. Didn't get done putting everything in until about 1 AM. WOW, all I have to say is DC for life. I don't have vids or pretty pictures today but tomorrow in the day light is when you guys will see what my weeks of hard work has turned out to be. For now here's a teaser pic from my phone. Got a bit more work to do tomorrow to get this all finalized up, but mostly I'm there and hopped up with joy. Just wanna say thanks to everyone who gave the great help and encouragement with this project, I can promise some great pictures tomorrow! http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif CERTIFIED BITCHES!!!
