Are you a member of MEA? There are plenty of brands that have great gear right on your doorstep that have already come from the U.S. 110dB is quiet as hell, I roll around in a 150+ daily driver and it's not even loud.

Join up to the MEA forums are you will get alot more relevant help about what actually is available in our country (No offense to you SMD guys, you do a kickass job!!)

of course!!!..lol...new alt..if you got the money...if not just stay with your stock amp and get extra batteries..like 2 or 3..optimas yellow top, kinetik,xs power...or any other audio batteries....then when you have the money buy the new alt..200-300+amp alt..would work..and yea 0 gauge power wire..

You misread.

That's what his buddy has and he wants to be louder than that.

For $5k.

You can look at 2 18" DC LV5's. $1300

Sundown 3k $1520 for a refurbs.

Wood, Misc box building materials, $80.

Really Nice Head unit $500 (I Mean REALLY NICE.)

Wire, fuses,RCA's Etc. $60.

That still leaves you with $1500.

that made me chuckle for a 6k+ watt system you just named off

get like 6 or 8 type x 12's if u got the room

he would be better off with the type r's in that situation since the type x was made for sq.

x2 on that maybe $60 in wires, fuses, rca for a 600w system for a 6krms system he would be lucky to get wires, fuses blocks, fuses, RCA for less than $260 not $60.

I'm telling ya sign up to mobileelectronics.com.au and check out the forums trading section. You can pick up tonnes of second hand DD gear in Aus there ridiculously cheap and you're guaranteed it to be loud as FUCK! They also also sound great. For great value batteries definitely hit up Absorbed Power, they have sizes from ones you can fit in the palm of your hand all the way up to ones that need two blokes to lift them! And they are all hi quality AGMs!
