In that case, yes, you can make anything work. Some things just dont work as well as others for certain applications (or enclosure styles).

It's a valid point that the tweeters are nearly 2 feet apart, and will cause interference patterns which will cancel at various frequencies, causing those frequencies to disappear.

first of all, dumb fuck, they are 12" apart, not 24". You got a terrible eye. Probably never even seen a tape measure. Is it perfect? probably not. Pretty good though...and the mids are more then ideal. Anyway I am not an expert at this and i certainly wasn't 6 fucking years ago when i built them. All i can do is learn and do better each time, and i have. My latest towers SHIT on these towers. BUT THESE towers still sound great too.
