E-Train
Okay so I finally have a real build thread lol I had my 2 Qauntum Audio 15's in a pre-fab sealed box, they sounded alright but it wasn't good enough. So I got Bigpimpin91 to design me a box and I will say now it slams! Its 38.5" wide, 28" Deep, and 17" Tall, with a 15.5" Tall port, thats 6" wide tuned to 35Hz This is my old setup Start of my new box Painted the port, only color i had was blue lol Subs in Amp n Cap mounted Put up in the back, just need some carpet now and she will be all done This box slumps, hopefully I will have some videos up tommorrow. This is my first time building my own box so don't hate on me too much lol I didn't design this box, Bigpimpin91 did but me and a buddy built it and it hits hard So lemme know what ya think about it so far. Also I wanna make a beauty panel for it to go on top around the subs, so how do i make one where it looks glossy and smooth out of mdf Also what should I cover it in, normal box carpet or something else, gimme some ideas Later, E-train Edited October 23, 2008 by e_train Quote 1997 4 Runner Alpine CDA-9886 4 Fi Audio X Series 12's 1 Crunch GP3000D Pro DC Power Inc.
