meade916
This is a box i did a few years ago. I was able to pull high 153.7 in the kick and a 152.5 was the highest sealed up at the dash. The specs are 20 cubes before displacement, 300" of port, 30" long tuned to 33hz i believe. A little miscalculation on the port length. I knew i did something wrong when i seen it was taking up almost 5 cubes to itself of displacement. I ended up cutting it down... meade916
There was alot of bracing but i wanted more so i put 3/4" All Thread thru it with huge washers/nuts. Basicly clamping it all together and effectively "bracing the braces". Heres the MT next to some other 18's i had layin around After painting the inside grey fleckstone i took it and had it all bedlined and here is the result. Yes that is 4GA speaker wire for the subs. Yes its a slight bit overkill but nothing wrong with that! Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! AP Zoutes
I really like the plexiglass. :^ I'm not willing to give a window into my enclosures yet, they always look like a mess inside :-[
