Recommended Posts

my guess is dead battery....take it to autozone and get it tested/recharged.... its a lot cheaper than $400

have you been able to turn the car at all, have you tried jump starting it?

i guess im going to take the battery tomorow for a check up..but thats what we did...and yeah the car does turn on and everything..

if you want to keep replacing the battery, keep playing the radio with the car off. if you dont want anymore problems, dont turn the radio on with the car off. simple solution.

its simple alright...but i think that shouldnt happen...but oh well..."i guess YOU helped enough"...just by saying small sentences!.. :censored:

i dont think the alt is the problem because the car was still running without the battery.. but ill do that too...just to be sure.

You just ran the battery dead, plain and simple.

You should never use power accessories (like the radio) for more than a few minutes with the car off. Jumpstarting a dead batteries and letting the engine run is very hard on your alternator, and can easily burn one up if the battery is big enough.

specs on that amp says 75wx4 @4ohm

someone just won 20 dollars for it being a 300wrms amp

congrats :clapping:

on a serious note, you would be shocked how much a draw a stock radio/amp/lights/ac/fan puts on the stock, low reserve battery. dont play your car with the engine off and you wont have any problems.

Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)
