skin colored ink wont work

i had it done with the ruby laser about 3 years ago was goin to lighten so i could get it covered up eazyer

worst thing i ever could have done

the burn was so deep i couldent work for a mounth because of oozing and hurt like hell

my skin is still hypersensitve and you can still see because every where it is black i am scared

it is covered now we had better luck with just packing white in to it and covering it later

thanks for that input man.

there is a lazer that is called a yag it is not suppose to scar have seen som work from a dr.bond in memphis that looked awesome

so i should ask Beachwood if they have/use a yag laser?? cause im looking for the best way to reduce scaring. that's the only thing im worried about.

i think im going to set up the free consultation, look at the doc's other laser removal case as see the work he/she does. also im gonna inquire about that yag laser also.

thanks again man.

i have my reasons behind it. actually i have many. some personal, and some business. my main reason for it is for the future and my own personal choice.. that's all that really needs to be said.

just wish i would have thought it through before i went and inked up my whole lower arm. but o well, ya live & learn.

edit. thanks P, i'll check that link out.

I just wondered. And ur right it is your own personal choice and I respect that. I just hate to see people give up on something they put alot of blood into for no reason, and thats what i was afraid u were doing.

thanks for respecting that, and sorry if what i said came off in any type of wrong way. i didnt mean it like that, i just have Many reasons and didnt want to get into ALL of it., and no im not really giving up on it all "i have tons more that can/are hidden", just the ones that can be seen when im wearing short sleeves. mainly thinking toward the present/future, working with the public, whatever might come up. some GOOD companies dont want ya to work with their customers when you got skulls, demons, and other "evil" things staring at them. i wish i would have thought about it all when i was pushing that needle and ink in myself, but 5-6yrs ago i wasnt in the mind state i am in now. and now i sort of regret it in a way.

I have Had laser Laser tattoo removal done 7 times.

Having said that, A. It hurts more than you can imagine...when they get started... and the pain seems to lessen as you calm back down, then after a while it starts to really hurt bad again, then you are dying to get the guy to stop. B. Most tattoos that are home made or black and gray sem to usually come off with less treatments. I had a tattoo covered twice, so technically it was 3 "layers" of ink. Although not really layers, but it implies there is more ink saturated into the skin, making the laser treatments increase. Some removal machines cant remove greens and blues. They can lighten them dramatically, but will not actually break down the color. Check with the shop, doctor , etc... and find out what capabilities their machine has. The first time you have it done it is going to heal like a second degree burn. You will probably have some VERY large water blisters the next morning , and your arm is gonna feel like it went through a meat grinder . You will be very sore, your arm will feel painfully weak, and you are gonna need to wash and bandage it 3 -4 times a day. If you don't take of well while it is healing you will develop scarring. Each time you have a treatment done the blistering will be less and the healing time will seem to go faster... However the actually lasering will still be just as uncomfortable and painful each time. I never used any " numbing cream" and I think it is a gimmick. I will try and post up a pic later tonight when I get back to the house where my camera is .... If you have any questions lemme know and I will answer them tonight.

just the type of post i have been waiting for. thank you VERY much for that input man.

i may have quite a few questions for you. but you have kinda answered some of them in that post. i'm just gonna make a list of questions i might have for you and maybe hit ya with them at once so i dont have to keep bothering you.

i'm not too sure on that numbing cream, but they said it was included, so hell i'll take it :).. the pain i could really care less about. don't get me wrong im sure it IS going to "hurt", but i think the worst part is going to be the next few days after the treatment(s). im hoping that i only need a few treatments to get this taken care of. cause i heard the same thing about it being easier to get rid of the black ink, and that is 98% of what the 1/2 sleeve consist of.

do you know what type of "laser" they used on you?? im wondering what this "yag" laser is & if that is a "better laser" to use or whatever like the other guy said.. Monday im gonna call and make a appointment for my free consultation and see what type of cases and end results this doc has had. basically just do my homework on him/her and i guess go from there.

but again, thanks for that post man, i really appreciate it, and i'll hit ya up with the questions i might have for ya. thanks for the help bro.

IS the numbing cream your talking about Emla cream if so it works my older sister has went thru laser surgery for a few years to get rid of a birth mark on her face it was about the size of a half dollar piece now its almost gone. I know its not a tattoo but they probably use the same cream. If they use the same cream then it really does work numbs what ever you touch it on.
