But heres the answer fi coils dont actually sit at what they are stated to be... ex: dual 1 ohm coils are actually .7 - dual 2 ohm coils are actually 1.5. so you can either get the dual 1 ohm (.7) and wire in series to a 1.5 ohm load (I recommend), or you can get the dual 2 ohm (1.5) and wire in parrallel to a .7 ohm load. Nightshade Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Posted November 25, 2008 If you have a pretty solid electrical system I'd say get dual 2's and wire the coils and subs in parallel to get the amp to run at .5 ohms. With rise you'll be pleanty safe to run it like that on a daily basis.
