My new Alienware! Pics, Screenshots, 3dmark scores.

Most the weapons are still the same such as my fav (awp + usp), and b43 for m4 or b42 for ak, deagle is still b14, and usp is still b12. Only thing they changed really was your nades, defuser, and armor which i have  smoke, flash, he nade, and defuser binded to f1-f4. Or if Im just lazy I just autobuy which gives me my awp usp full nades, defusekit and body armor.

It be nice to see steve play source only thing that would suck is my latency or his latency because of the distance unless we fragged in a dallas server and both our pings would be playable.

PS: your letting me down steve as I look at your desk and see wires galore all over the place.. hide that crap with some zip ties or somthing  :ranting2:

ya i know its a wiring nightmare....i just removed my old system had the monitor somewehre else and got rid of some things so its not all cleaned up yet. I usually mix in at least a few zip ties.

OK.....I actually decided to overclock it and run more 3dmark scores........WOW Whata difference!

Im using the Quadcore 2.66 but i bumped it up to 3.46 (a few notches at a time of course) and so far so good.  Im not gonna take any more chances but its chillin between 46 and 50c so not too bad IMO.  Here is the pics

3dmark 06 (improved almost 4,000 marks)

3dmark 05 (improved almost 5,000 3dmarks)

3dmark 03 (improved 2500 or so 3dmarks)

Im happy, that 05 score is SMOKIN...

UPDATE: i dont know how much i said about how my Alienware was giving me trouble but for the last few months it would freeze up on games and really just wasnt running right. 3dmark was fine but for some reason games gave me the blue screen. Well this thing is straight up top of the line gaming PC so WTF you mean i cant play games http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif I will give alienware credit, they put up with my smart ass ANGRY comments to them on just about every call after the 3rd one (i was nice the first 2). They worked with me, we tested EVERYTHING and it all passed. Finally after some research it turns out my brand of ram (Patriot) didnt jive with the rest of my system. They determined that was the problem and expressed me over 2 new 2gig sticks (ddr2 6400) of a different brand (i didnt ask the brand i need to find out). Well to make this already long story shorter, my Alienware is now working GREAT and is FINALLY working the way its supposed too!! These graphics are the most amazing thing ive ever seen and no freezups!!! No bluescreens!! Vista on Direct X 10 is amazing!! Bout to post some screenshots of some of the games.....super clean!

anyway i had to post this because its been 1 week with zero problems you know somethings wrong when you pay as much as i did and your "happy" that it works
