Ernesto
Don't want to screw up my friend's system so im making a list of the install Setup: Two 15" L5s DVC 4 Power Acoustik a2400db (wired in parallel, 1 ohm). I'm going to be running 0gauge from the battery, fusing it right there at the battery with a 150fuse. Running the wire and connecting it to another fuse (150). Run into distro block, and 4 gauge from the block to amp. Same with grounds. Connect RCAs, remote. Set SSF. Set gains with DMM. *I would connect the power wire last (obviously).* _________________________________________________________ Any thing else you guys recommend? Should I use bigger fusing or 150 is fine? I'll make sure to post a thread of the build up.
meade916
i would do the big 3 upgrade......even if its just a 4ga upgrade. Anythings better than the stock alt wire and engine ground. Whatever size wire is on the amp running to the back is the size i would use for the big 3. If he KNOWS he will get more stuff later than go big on that with some 1/0. dmanson
you should be connected the battery negative last not positive. i've learned from past experiences to always disconnect the negative first and last when i'm working on anyways car. if you go about connecting the positive last you might blow a fuse or two. so remember, disconnect negative of battery first and connect it last when everything is hooked up. 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative. OK cool, we might get around to doing the big 3.Does it seem ok setting the sub woofer level at max 10/10 at 3/4 volume? Normally how I do it. Max subwoofer level @ 3/4 volume.
