im just curious. i have 4 right now in my tahoe but maybe my expectations are just too high. i am in the process of building the biggest ported box kicker says to build for 4 cvx 12's and im going to see what kind of difference that makes. what do yall have yours in sealed or ported? what does a cvx sound best in with alot of space? i want to see a video or something or somebodies set up with cvx's that is loud. let me know

Yes i own two Kicker CVX in a 4 cubic ported box after woofer and port displacement tune at 32 Hz. It get loud and i mean loud. It shake my window and pisses peoples off. 4 12" CVX would be insance depend on the enclosures and install. Here my video.

I have 2 cvx 15's, I love them, everyone I show them too love them too, my box was 3.3cubic feet per sub, tuned to around 33 hz, they hit the lows really well, not the mids, but they are 15's so they shouldn't be anyways, awesome subs though, just make sure you build them the right box, you can see my old build with them in my signature, im moving them into my new car once I buy it :D right now they are in my room sitting on the floor, waiting for a car to go in :( beefy and awesome looking too, I would do ported, around 33hz tuned, and they love lots of space, follow specs and build the maximum size you can

my CVXs treated me well, 2 12s in a 4 cube box, 60 sq" of port, 35hz for daily on an aq1200d, did a 144.2 sealed on the dash with them @ 41hz, competed with them all last year, did mid 42s-43s musically with them out of my trunk, see my youtube chan for vids

Heres a question I dunno if this matters or not I have it pos-pos on each sub then I have wires ran off each sub out off the dotted marked speaker terminals and then the wires are twisted together going into the amp would it be 1 ohm?
