cvr 12 off 800 watts?

Recommended Posts

so 400 watts is good?? right now im running it at 200 watts with a kicker kx200.2 amp @ 4 ohms

the best i can do is prolly get an amp that gives a little more then 400 watts @ 4 ohms....will i see

a difference in bass???

well, running anymore than 400 for daily use isnt really recommended. buy another sub?

how much power can a single 12" kicker cvr subwoofer can handle. would it get loud off 800 watts???

800 watts would make the worst noise youve heard in your life.  I used to have a cvr 12 and I blew it 3 times with a 500 watt amp.  If you want to get louder, get a better sub and a bigger amp.  Or get two subs.

Power Acoustik fubar 12

sony xploding amp

2 ft^3 box @ 35hz

I roasted a pair of 12's w/ 600rms each.

Rated power is where ti shoudl be unless you're gonna be burping it a sec or 2 at a time and I don't think you are planning on it.

I run CVR's.

Have for a long time and in more than 1 setup.

10's, 12's, & 15's. On 12's: Stick w/ 400rms/800max each unless you like to send em out for repair or wanna replace them often.
