But I don't really recommend Solo X's I've heard the 10's before and there aight. Nobody is here to insault anybody or what they think. But seriously he's saying he's getting four 18" Solo Xs. That right there is $2,500 eBay pricing! Locally is going to be near $4,000.00 in just subs. How can you ask if it sounds good. If it was me I would personally hear this sub in person before I go on and purchase FOUR of them. What makes it worse is that it's a square 18" subwoofer so even if you don't like it, what can you replace the box with? Nothing. "One 4,000watt amp on each subwoofer". Sounds like a complete noob. Most people hear 4,000 watt and automatically asume it does 4,000 watts. They don't know that means MAX/PEAK. And if he was to put "One 4,000 watt amp on each sub", does he actually think he is going to be playing 16,000watts of music? :-X I'd like to see what electrical setup he plans to run and what amps he's going to be running. Like I said, im not here to bash nobody but don't come asking "will it sound good on music" when that sub was made pretty much for SPL purposes. You rarely see them playing music rather just being burped at shows. If he would he stop and read a bit he would have considered the MTs since he doesn't mind to spend money. Woofers break, woofers blow......shit happens. When it does who wants to CRATE up a sub and ship it across the country, pay for shipping both ways plus labor on a repair. Then you get to wait till god-knows-when for it to arrive back in one piece (the way those monkeys toss your stuff around on the trucks). Id rather have my shit up and running that same day.
