nice. you're impedance was rising to 5 ohms? jeez dude, i've never had any of mine rise a full ohm over what it was intended to be at.

i also use 8 or 10 gauge speaker wire when i can though.....

the box was really small only 2 cubes... the only reason i kept it in was because the lows were so nice with it. but this box is about 4.1 cubes so i hope it stays close to 1.

i use 8 gauge from amp to box then it split to 10 gauge. i gotta get some more from darvex soon though all 8 gauge this time

I got a little more done

I cut the whole for the sub, put it some t-nuts, and put in the threaded rod. now i just have to find my small bolts to make the terminals. I used some carriage bolt with the theaded rod mainly to keep the bottom of the box close to flat so it lays down better

i had to screw that nut over 3 feet. then i had to do it again for the other one.

nothing new done yet. these finals are takin up my free time. I did get the sub test fit, and talk about close measurements, the motor has about half a centimeter of room between the two long pieces of threaded rod that go across the width of the box.
