fritosaregood
nice. you're impedance was rising to 5 ohms? jeez dude, i've never had any of mine rise a full ohm over what it was intended to be at. i also use 8 or 10 gauge speaker wire when i can though..... the box was really small only 2 cubes... the only reason i kept it in was because the lows were so nice with it. but this box is about 4.1 cubes so i hope it stays close to 1. i use 8 gauge from amp to box then it split to 10 gauge. i gotta get some more from darvex soon though all 8 gauge this time seller feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61719 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=68281 build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44800 Gf's build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/54346-kickergirls-camaro-new-box-pg-5/#entry753970
fritosaregood
I got a little more done I cut the whole for the sub, put it some t-nuts, and put in the threaded rod. now i just have to find my small bolts to make the terminals. I used some carriage bolt with the theaded rod mainly to keep the bottom of the box close to flat so it lays down better those expensive little things. almost $4 each i had to screw that nut over 3 feet. then i had to do it again for the other one. ] seller feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61719 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=68281 build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44800 Gf's build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/54346-kickergirls-camaro-new-box-pg-5/#entry753970

fritosaregood
nothing new done yet. these finals are takin up my free time. I did get the sub test fit, and talk about close measurements, the motor has about half a centimeter of room between the two long pieces of threaded rod that go across the width of the box. seller feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61719 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=68281 build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44800 Gf's build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/54346-kickergirls-camaro-new-box-pg-5/#entry753970
