looks really good oh this is a stupid question but wouldn't the braces cause turbelence within the box? but other than that, that thing looks good and strong!!!

thats a good question......................I dont know the answer...............anyone else wanna chime in...........do I need to cap the ends of the braces...

I was thinkin that actually so either we're both "stupid" or the only stupid Question, is the one you let go unanswered.

I was gonna suggest trying it as is and try to notice if it makes any difference, but be ready to cap em as the air passing through that small of an opeing inside the box and exiting in a buncha different directions may (via the venturi effect) cause some port turbulance and thus some port noise.

I honestly DON'T know for sure eihter but by trying it, that should help us understand it better. Otherwise I'd say cap em or fill em in.

those braces are for sure going to cause some turbulance at higher volumes. The air is going to hit the brace and split into all kinds of directions like boom said. Im not sure if it will cause enough turbulance to make the port noise evident, but if it does, just cut off the middle pieces of the braces.

well,Im not competing or nothing like that....its just a daily driver.........I guess Ill see how it sounds......hopfully the braces wont make it sound like shit....

A mans gotta have room to play,,,,,,,,so I had to get rid of some sheet metal between the trunk and the cab..
