Recommended Posts

Can I ask how many cubes?

It looks around 2 cubes per sub. But thats just eyeballing it.

A couple links to some box builds:

Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI,

Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150

My own car builds (current setup --- under construction):

Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors

Subwoofer Wall

Sean has a GREAT eye ;)

it is 2.1 cubes net each side.....tuned to 34hz :)

on the cuts, i dont know if they are 5/8" deep.....i just know they are almost all the way thru. I would have flared the front as well but it only has just enough room for the subs on the face so that was out. I will of course round the port off with a router so it should be fine. Subs will be countersunk also....

Bibb: nahh not tinkering too much, i did move it out of the spot its in and out front for a little bath though. Hit a few switches to keep it all loose....then put it back. Had to move it out of the way to trash out my back yard on saturday. Good eye, it was chillin LA style all weekend.......:)

STEVE!! Thats sweet man!! LOVE the flares!! I think i might wait a month or so before my new box, maybe some more ideas from your genious head will pop out!?

Question for you.. do you use only Wood glue? No Screws? I noticed the amounts of glue, i didnt notice any screws... just wondering cuz i got like 5 pounds of screws in my box.. lol..

thanks Alpine :)

nahh i use nails and glue and rarely any screws. I will on occasion, they do have their place but mostly just clamp, glue, nail......dry - move to the next piece. I will however use screws to mount the subs :P

you can set your balde depth on I think every circular saw out there. So instead of setting it @ an 1" (which is what you should use for 3/4" cut for saftey  ) you would set it @ 5/8" according to steven and that' how deep your cut will be
