Skip01
did u use these screws to bolt ur btl's down? if not what u use Someone doesnt read Hey Meade, when you say you use screws to mount the subs, are they just normal wood/drywall screws or do you use machine bolts and some type of threaded insert like a t-nut? What did you use on your 4 18's? I'm tryin to figure out if normal screws are able to hold down a big ass 18" btl... BTW, sorry i didn't mention it earlier, but you have some of the sickest, cleanest builds ever. I fuggin love your work!!! thanks man! i usually use some fat "high load" screws i get from work here. They are real beefy and use a #3 bit. Ill probably supply him with some since i wont have the subs in my posession. Ill take some pics of them. sean 371
Wow that carpet really looks nice; I like how the port merges with the sub cutouts. Nice job as always Steve! When you carpet, do you use scissors to cut the carpet hanging off the sides into 4 pieces, and then overlap/slice? That's what it looks like I just wanted to make sure. Your right for the most part K cool, I normally have done just separate pieces on each side. Looks okay, but definitely not as clean, and doesnt work with rounded edges. I'll be going this route next time I'm carpeting.
