Chris
The new RF 1500bd? You gotta let us know how it is! (kinda pricey IMO) Also I think you're right about not tuning it lower than the subs fs so 35 seems just about right. Ray
usally I tune to 33-36hz depending on woofer, music style, type of car, overall box size, port area. You can tweak it alot, shit take the 6 aa 8's, noone ever thought we'd do a 51 legal. but it happened, that was a great box. Back to my hole. 93Cutty
It was the first box I made and lasted like 3 years.. I think it was tuned to 25hz.. played any note, 20 hz would even be good. The higher bass was pretty lacking, but when you slow down all your songs, and picked certain ones to play.. it was nice.. I think it peaked around 38 ish.. but still hit a 134 @ 30 off 2 12s and 1200 watts.. I miss it
 0 134

Derrick824
For those of you who aren't into serious SPL (maybe have two boxes/setups for that) and still want to get loud with a daily driving setup to play music, what are you guys tuning your box to?! Daily = 32hz SPL = 40hz I use aero ports to make the switch easy. All I have to do is remove the center section and run the ports flare to flare for competitions then reinstall the center section later to lengthen the port and lower the tuning.
