Duaber
If you want, we can "de-tune" that alternator some so that it doesn't slip the belt so bad. Unfortunately, your vehicle has a pretty bogus belt setup from the factory, it just can't grip a really strong alternator. Also, if you keep your batteries on a good charger overnight, it will make the alternator's job easier during the day, just FYI. I got a question you guys were building an accord wagon around his generation. Did you do anything special to compensate for the "Bogus belt setup"?(Idle pulley) I thought a 6 rib setup would've been able to handle to 250a load Quote Team Sundown Team XS Power System: Car: 1997 Honda Accord Head unit: Alpine CDE-7870 Amp: 2 Sundown saz-1500 Battery: kinetik 1400 and 2400 Subs: 2 Audioque HD310 D2

MECHMAN
bump 6 rib normally does, but the belt wrap isn't great on that vehicle. You can go with a slightly larger pulley to increase surface area, but then you loose a little output at idle. I wanted to do a hood scoop and have two more alts coming up through the hood, but they wouldn't have it.
