Rockford vs. Crunch vs. Lanzar?

I just picked up an 18" BTL and i want to get the right amp for it. i know that Steve is running a rockford T4000BD on each of his (atleast i'm hoping i'm still up to snuff on the amp selection, please correct me if i'm wrong) I've heard many people say good things about the Crunch GP3000D-Pro, especially powering an 18" BTL, than i found the Lanzar Opti4000D which has some decent numbers. i'm looking for a skull crushing daily driver that'll be tuned around 33 hz (still up in the air as well) Any suggestions and/or ideas are welcome.

I"m a little biased towards the Opti 4000d. It'll put those numbers out and then some.

crunch 3000d is dirty to get more than 3kwrms out of it...

I would suggest Rockford, Sundown, DAT for some clean power.

Honestly Sundown, Rockford, DAT these amps are in different categories than Crunch or Lanzar. Having used both Crunch and Lanzar, I can say they are not what they used to be, if your budget permits, I would look at the first 3 I mentioned.

Don't rush into buying piece of crap amplifier (Lanzar Opti4000D), because you can most likely find a used Saz 3000D for 500-600. I wouldn't do a rockford T4000BD unless your electrical is really up to par, if it is not you'll end up damaging the sub and the amp.

with that much power, that applies to any amp really. that much power will have a strong current draw. definitely make sure you electrical is up to par
