kryptonite
I just picked up an 18" BTL and i want to get the right amp for it. i know that Steve is running a rockford T4000BD on each of his (atleast i'm hoping i'm still up to snuff on the amp selection, please correct me if i'm wrong) I've heard many people say good things about the Crunch GP3000D-Pro, especially powering an 18" BTL, than i found the Lanzar Opti4000D which has some decent numbers. i'm looking for a skull crushing daily driver that'll be tuned around 33 hz (still up in the air as well) Any suggestions and/or ideas are welcome. lanman31337
I"m a little biased towards the Opti 4000d. It'll put those numbers out and then some. 2 - Audiopipe AP30001Ds 1 - Lanzar Opti Scion 600.4 4 - Lanzar Optidrive 1232D's 1 - Lanzar Opti 5.1 1 - Lanzar Opti 6.1 1 - Lanzar Opti 6C midbass 1 - Alphasonic PCT6551 1 - Lanzar VX830 1 - JBL 22 band EQ 1 - Lanzar SDBT75NU 1 - AudioControl Epic160
wL<3bass
crunch 3000d is dirty to get more than 3kwrms out of it... I would suggest Rockford, Sundown, DAT for some clean power. bigbodylexus
Honestly Sundown, Rockford, DAT these amps are in different categories than Crunch or Lanzar. Having used both Crunch and Lanzar, I can say they are not what they used to be, if your budget permits, I would look at the first 3 I mentioned. 1990 Chevy Suburban (Big Booty Judy) (4) Sundown Audio Zv5 18's (1) Sundown Audio Salt 12K (1) Sundown Audio SAX-100.4 (1) Sundown Audio SAE-50.4 (2) Crossfire ST-1 Tweeters (2) Obsidian Audio ST-1 tweeters (4) Sundown Audio Neo Pro v3 6.5's Saving 2nd Bass

mr.p
the crunch is a very good amplifier if you are looking into the 3000d-pro it will push a btl very nicely, and puts out a clean 3000w. mine outlasted my btl by a long shot DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP

I wouldn't do a rockford T4000BD unless your electrical is really up to par, if it is not you'll end up damaging the sub and the amp. 07 Toyota FJ Cruiser 2 18 inch 08 Fi Btl's 2 SAZ-3000D 2 Alpine MRP-F300 Highs amp 3 Pairs of Alpine SPS-69C3 Highs Kinetic Hc 2400,1400,& 3800 250 amp Mechman Alt Alpine IXA W-404 H/U
Torres
i agree with bigbodylexus on amps. tho i wouldnt put more RMS to the sub than you know you can do safely. if you blow something, it's all on you as the BTL doesnt have a warranty
