Haha, yeah we are putting pods where the rear seat belts used to be the he wanted the passenger seat to recline still that's why it's not centered. I'm not sure why he would want only the passenger to recline? ;)

Small update...

as micahmye said... were glassing pods...

Finally got more practice with fiber glass....

glassed the base for the seat belt pods...

these pods will be goin on the bolt that holds the seat belt up in the rear seats...

thats all for now...

making another set of mounting rings...

i got more.. ill post them up as soon as i get home...

i think i finally decided on this... ..

now to the mounting rings...

dowels measured and cut...

hot glued in place... took FOREVER to get them in the right place...

test fit...

after glue...

strength test...

i think i did okay for my first pod...

i am currently having touble with wrapping it... im paranoid about stapling directly into the fiberglass base..

thanks man...

but i still got alot of stuff to figure out... lilke how to mount it back there... i thought that only the seatbelt bolt would hold it up.. but i ddint realize how heavy the pod is gona be...

i was thinking the bolt plus some large strips of velcro...

you guys got any ideas??

Dude, you'll do fine even if you dont have the components sets in yet, those pods are lookin' tight good job, to bad I'm not in the area anymore to help out.
