sean 371
K, I wanted to tune my L5's lower for a lil more clean deep bass instead of just gnarly loudness. They were at 39, now I think it's between 30-32...I forget where I put it. And I wanted a flushed amp rack, but I decided on that after I started cutting wood. But you'll see. Anyway here's pics. These will be for mounting the flush mounting frame over the amps: (more of these later) Box starting to come together: Then a brad nail decided it wanted to come out of the wood and punch straight through my finger...I can see the mark on my fingernail from where it came up under it. But couldn't stop building over some little flesh wound: Resined 45 in port. Ran out of resin for the rest of it. as usual, comments/opinions are welcome. you guys know the drill. sean 371
It's got 74 square inches of port. And the box is somewhere around 5.5 cubic feet. I don't think it'll be an issue, especially when you consider that steves has only 120" for 4 18's. Thanks nismo And thanks civic, that means a lot and yea that nail hurt like a bitch. It was bleeding all down my hand but the camera died before i could get a shot of it. haha A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall

sean 371
Yea the flush mount is gonna go quick, I just have to get the box finished so I can start nailing the frame for it. I still need to find $70 for sound deadening too. sean 371
I did some more work on the amp rack, had to stop cause it's too late to saw anymore. I'm just mounting the framework that the cover will go on. I'll do 4 or more nutserts around this framework for the cover to screw onto.
