I live in the Virgin Islands. I found this site while checking out the RoE site. Sweet site. Anyway, I was so impressed with Steve's work I just had to be a part of this. I've been into audio since I was about 8 or 9-shortly thereafter I started repairing speakers (rewire, coil upgrades etc) because it was too expensive to buy one. Now it's not worth it. Bottom line...glad to be here. Peace glad you could make it!!! you sound like me ive been into this since about the time i twisted a bunch of different wires (diff types too lol) together and made a speaker play in my room all the way from my dads stereo in the other room. I was about 9 i think. Been hooked since! I remember wondering why i could always make my dads stereo (home reciever) go into protect even though the wires werent touching. I mean i only had about 8 speakers (diff types again lol) hooked up in parallel Dont all recievers run best at .00001 ohms? ;D Hey i didnt know Actually Dog, or CPL i should say, you are MY hero.....anyone who is brave enough to put that uniform on in this day and age is someone i look up to. This stereo thing is just fun...its only bullshittin around. Without people willing to do what you are doing i couldnt do this and niether could anyone else. Thank you for being much braver than me. My name is Tony,I'm 21,live in Youngstown Ohio, and I've been involved with car audio for about 4-5 years.Never competed never had any crazy setups. Currently I run a Pioneer DEH-3800 headunit, Elemental Designs Ed nine.1 @ 1 ohm, Cadence Super Triple X(800 watt rms- 1600 watt max),3.5 cf. slot port box tuned to 45hz, and it's all tied together with Knukonceptz wiring.Now this whole setup including the car is changing thanks to Mr. Meade. Second, Steve your website is great.Car audio being my passion, hobby and running across this site and seeing the things you do and done I totally respect you and all of your work. I think you pretty much heard everything but the work and detailing you do is just insane.Mad props Steve(standing ovation). As for what I said in the first paragraph because of Steve I'm buying a new car and a new set of subs. P.S. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread.
