07mazda3s
I broke ground on my new box today. I flared the port opening out 30degrees. My question is, how does flaring the port affect your tuning and what do I need to do to get it back to the planned tuning frequency? sean 371
go to www.diysubwoofers.org, and click vented boxes on the left side, and then click on port calculations also on the left side. It'll give you a set of equations you can use to figure a port flare into your design. You have to calculate port length on your own, but that's a good thing to be able to do.
