meade916 Posted November 4, 2009 Author Report Posted November 4, 2009 lol i like steve's wheel, shit looks comfortable to drive with too.mac mini running windows 7 too, sick my wheel is totally comfortable. I like it much better then the stock BUS WHEEL it came with. lol it was an early morning idea... i just never liked the aftermarket wheels... there really arnt that many options.. but i have to say it looks better than stock... way better.. i like the (i cant think of the name of it) mount? bezel? whatever its called behind the wheel it looks amazing. i have had a MOMO wheel in almost every car ive owned. For an american car i guess a "Grant" wheel would be another choice but i am a MOMO fan from way WAY back. I hate almost all the crazy "billet" looking wheels i see in like truckin' magazines, to me they are tacky (or i havent seen one i really like yet). Oh what you are talking about is probably the Hub adapter. Thanks! Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Oh what you are talking about is probably the Hub adapter. Thanks! HUB ADAPTER THATS IT.. and we have momo on our race car(very comfy) and on my racing kart(that wheel is light and is easy to grip.) and i dont like most stock wheels.. they dont feel right and are in the way most of the time.. if i could find a wheel to match my mach.. . Quote The set up your talking about would sound great in my Tahoe. Trade you my dog for it. He has one eye but that only makes for bad depth perception so hey so what if he is running into shit, look at it this way he is easy to sneak up ninja style on. (right side only)

thehoe92 Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 real stout wheel you would appreciate it if you drove a tahoe with how big the steering wheel is stock bus wheel is an under statement compared to the momo Quote Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

ptcary Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 (edited) Looking great Steve! I think I remember you posting somewhere in the Hoopty build that you felt it a necessity to still have a headunit in there even with the computer. I am gathering computer parts for a Hummer H3 to go along with the PT next summer, and with limited dash space I would have to put a headunit somewhere in the center console. Would you ever run a computer without a separate headunit, if there was not the need for the volume knob? Is there an issue with the sound card on the computer limiting SQ or anything like that? Keep up the awesome work! Edited November 4, 2009 by ptcary Quote PTCary 2003 SMD PT Cruiser 2011 Honda CBR 250R 2010 Mazda 3i Sport MY BUILD LOG
meade916 Posted November 5, 2009 Author Report Posted November 5, 2009 modded the mac mini today... i think it will probably not be affected by the vibration when i am done (for those that asked). I will probably do something to soften up the shock to it but it shouldnt be too bad. If it acts up i will get a solid state HD. It will probably be ok though. PTcary, no, you dont need a seperate headunit i just prefer to use one and have the carputer be another "source". It can be ran by itself and sound just fine. name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364">"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel!
