Saw the pics and vids, and nearly cried. Nearly..

But like Steve said, out with old in with the new.

So Steve, any chance of getting a sneak peak of a prelim design as to what's gong in?

Or whatever's on your bass-sadistic mind as to what you visualize going in?

i dont have a plan, i still have to decide what to do......dont expect anything crazy and fancy. Its gonna look nice i hope but not any crazier then it is right now. A few showing and a few hidden (no choice). Possibly the same box but with a "facelift" untill i decide to build a new one. See this has to be done in phases or ill never get it done. More then anything i wanna hear my 18's in the same box with that much more power, then build the new one. Or maybe i build a new one now because i have to......i dont know!! Just keep in mind when my seats are up, there will be nothing showing so no disco balls hanging from the ceiling, no strobe lights, just a clean install with a lot of power.

Hey Steve, is the rear door 1 piece or 2? I was thinking you could mount some amps on it. If it's 1 piece, you might be able to fit at least 2 amps there, maybe 4 if your creative.

My comp setup (Not bad for what it is):

HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with:

15.4" widescreen

AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor

2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz)

Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD

128MB shared video memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours)

What it does:

On a USB 2.0 Wireless card

ok its looking like i can get 5 D3100's in the hole and if im wrong then for SURE 4. That means that i cant get the rear 6 in the hole and im not getting rid of any batteries..so that means i need to buy 3 more for a total of 10. The other 4 will probably sit in the spot they are now because i like them there. So 4, hopefully 5 in the hole, 4 in the back and 1 up front. If i do this though i can kiss any chance of bagging this thing good bye since thats the only place i can put a tank.

I spent a little time today marking out where the floor can/will be cut. Also spent time modifying the trim pieces to fit the new amps and i am also gonna spend a chunk of tomorrow on cleaning up and fixing the current box to re-use until such a time i feel like making a new one. This one slams really hard so im not in a big hurry to redesign one...it also fits back there really good since all the trim panels are already made to fit where its at. I can see myself keeping it and upholstering it to match the rest of the new leather seats.
