Trading vehicles. Help please

Recommended Posts

So I may be trading my dirtbike for another car. The vin number on my dirtbike is scratched and I cannot read 2 digits in the middle, and I need to have a bill of sale made by tomorrow. I'm lost on what to do, I can't find another vin on the bike itself

Thats the thing, I feel like a fucking fool now! I traded this a year ago for a car I had, and I never got a bill of sale or anything. Wasnt thinking at the time, I trusted it was from a good friend of mine it was her husbands.

edit: I shouldn't be jumping to the gun that it was stolen, it is a friend of mine, and I doubt it is.

If you never got a bill of sale/Reg/Pink from the previous owner you probably never put it your name either....That means whoever your trying to trade with now has to deal with your friends Husband.... :8)

Your right its not in my name, I never thought to do it since I didn't get any papers. Didn't see it as a needed thing until now, fuck me.
