OK i had enough for today! As you can see i have a long sleeve shirt on to protect my new Tattage' so i got hot quick! Im takin tomorrow and tuesday off so ill get more done then! Im all cleaned up and ready to relax the rest of my sunday away!

Todays pics....gotta give up the BIG THANKS to my Ex-Boss (foreman) and now co-worker Matt who i got at LEAST 80% of my skills from. I went to the shop (where i work) in the morning to hit up the sheet metal stash, the sheer, and the brake. Also thanks to Harold (the guy with the beard) for bending me up some FINE pieces

i was having trouble screwing into some of the areas since there is so much corrugated metal in this part of the truck........tomorrow i will get some better fasteners and next time you see this it will be sucked down tight. Its already air tight from just the few screws i was able to get in....

Went and found a store that is a hardware PARADISE - "Blue Collar Supply" here in SAC...i been there before but its been about 5 years. I forgot how AWESOME that place is! I picked up a bunch of items but here is the important stuff.

Ok i have two seperate battery banks that will be in this ride. One with its own buss bars, the other hard wired (due to them being end to end). The second, more thicker set of buss bars will be the main hub that EVERYTHING connects too including the amps and alternators.

1/2" x 2" and 1/4" x 1 1/4" wide

also bought ALL Stainless Steel nuts and bolts......you dont wanna be mixing the wrong types of metal together in case you are wondering

Oh, i didnt take pics, but these buss bars are sitting on rubber "isolators" so they arent touching anything.....

DAMN who wants to come push a broom at the SMD headquarters? I damn sure dont!

LONG AZZ DAY!! And i still have 11 amps and 4 MORE batteries to wire up!! SERIOUS WIRE!

first task was cutting all my original 1/0 to length....no reason to take it out its still in perfect condition. 5 1/0 positive, 5 1/0 neg from Alternators up front. Everything BESIDES the alternator wiring will be brand new.

I had to get creative with the fuse holders....

time to solder up some 1/0 lugs onto some 2/0 wire -

went ahead and used my last box of Second Skin to clean up the back and seal it off for good I can still get to the battery lid if i need to, all i have to do is cut the deadening with a blade and unscrew it....it will come right out.
