Got it up and playing minus the carputer..the mids and highs are sooooo much louder with the sundown 100.4s powering them.Went to daytona beach (spring break nationals)to get away from things and just chill and meet some people from on the forums.had an uneventful trip on the way down there with no issues..ended up meetin a chick like right when i got there that was hella cool so i really wasnt even interested in going to the show lol.my friend took my truck to the show both days,i probably attended the show a total of about 4-5 hours maybe the whole time i was there,met some cool people with some loud rides..especially dj from sundown..his stuff is brutal.Anyways i wasnt even gonna run it thru the lanes cause the amps hadnt been gain matched or anything.Still had alot of tuning to do and so forth.but my friend entered it anyways,it did a 153.7 sealed on the dash legal on music,i havent tried to find a good song to get a good number,i dont even know what my truck peaks at or whatever.anyways david from PSI told me he would gain match all of my amps so he started doing that..he gets down to the amp on the bottom of my rack and hes like man this amp isnt putting out any power at all,and im like WTF (im thinking god damn another amp smoked) but the green light was on (i had brought an extra d9 just in case this happened lol)come to find out the last amp was in slave mode instead of master which equals no output..he clicked it over to master and gain matched all the amps and it made a world of difference,hits like it never has before.so if i had to *GUESS* I would say it would probably do a 155 sealed on the dash on music,which i would be more than happy with.I love the way it sounds right now,box sounds good,hits like a ton of bricks and plays a wide range of music. on to the next part. david-my installer- has been having some personal issues lately and has decided hes done with my truck.He has family matters to attend to and thats that. So right now im left with a decent amount of work that needs to be done.. Carputer installed- (wires and everything are already extended) center console/amprack- needs to be built to hold/house the cdplayer,ac controls,carputer brain and that type stuff. trim panels-there are a few trim panels that need to be made finished for the box and such..probably a few days work for somebody that can do it all. alternators-my 6 alt kit will be here soon so they will need to be installed and more power/grounds ran back to the battery bank..i can probably do this anyways,so now,here i sit,wondering which path or way to go next. on another note,i do have some footage at sbn and some pix,not a ton but some,i will be posting up within the next week or so,ive been crazy buzy at work,working all hours of the night/day so ive been kinda spread thin.Not even any time fore CALL OF DUTY DAMNIT!LOL Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
