I would read up on your speakers and read what size wire is recommended for them. Also what size speaker wire will your amp take? I would personally go with 12 gauge, but thats just me cause I run 8 gauge to my subs and 12 gauge to my mids and highs!

Depends a lot on the power and the length of the wires...typicaly for mids and highs 16awg would be ideal but I would avoid going smaller than that for runs over 15 feet or over 150 watts, but as always bigger is better!

I agree with the guys about the 16 gauge and if you want to go bigger 14 gauge should work for almost any application for mids and tweets.

I would say you should be fine up to 250 to 300 watts per channel with 14 gauge.
